In the vision of The Scent Library, every fragrance becomes a chapter through which to explore the identity and imagery of the Emirates. Created by nose and founder Saeed AlNuaimi, AlHayl is born from the tale of a spice merchant who, in the vibrant souk of AlHayl, composes a blend capable of transporting travelers into the heart of the Arabian desert.

The ideal protagonist of this story is cardamom, evoked for its spicy warmth and its charm, which is deeply linked to the olfactory culture of the region. The composition, however, opens with a lively brightness of citrus, lemon, petitgrain, and red berries, which introduces a softer and more multifaceted heart of jasmine, lily of the valley, and apple.

At the base, vetiver, amber, sandalwood, and musky notes lend depth to the fragrance, leaving a woody and ambery trail on the skin.

AlHayl thus tells the story of the allure of travel through the language of spices: bright at the opening, becoming more enveloping and warm as it settles on the skin.
