An olfactory chapter dedicated to one of the most intimate rituals of Emirati culture: bakhour.

In the vision of The Scent Library, every fragrance tells the story of a place, an identity, a tale. Bakhour Bliss – Chapter 4 was born in 2023 from the creative encounter between perfumers Saeed Alnuaimi and Kevin Mathys, translating the ancient custom of bakhour—the aromatic incense that accompanies moments of hospitality, tranquility, and connection in Emirati homes—into perfume.

Developed using the innovative Hydrospace extraction method, the composition captures the atmosphere of burning incense. The delicately spicy heat of white pepper opens the fragrance, followed by a heart of lily, frankincense, and agarwood, where floral elegance meets the depth of oud and the smoky nuances of incense. Cashmere woods and amberwood finally emerge on the skin, leaving a soft, warm, and sophisticated trail.

More than simply evoking bakhour, Bakhour Bliss transforms its ritual into a contemporary olfactory experience: intimate, enveloping, and profoundly linked to Emirati identity.
