A tribute to the generation that helped build the foundations of the modern Emirates and to the courage of the pearl divers of the sixties.

Part of the Generation Collection, Dana — “pearl” — tells the story of an era when men braved the sea in search of one of the Gulf’s most precious treasures. A story of courage, strength, and resilience that perfumer Kevin Mathys translates into an ambery, luminous, and deeply evocative composition.

The fragrance opens with the freshness of grapefruit and mandarin, crossed by the aromatic warmth of cardamom. At the heart, jasmine, geranium, rose, and orange blossom meet an ozonic accord that evokes the marine dimension of its history. The base becomes warmer and more enveloping through vanilla, amber, patchouli, musk, and cashmeran, leaving a soft and persistent trail on the skin.

What makes Dana even more unique is its maturation process: the Extrait de Parfum is left to rest for nine weeks in traditional Emirati clay vessels called Alhab, once used to store water and here reinterpreted to preserve and recount the local olfactory heritage.

With a fragrance oil concentration of 25% and a production of only 100 bottles worldwide, Dana transforms the memory of the pearl divers into a rare olfactory object, suspended between the sea, tradition, and contemporary perfumery.
